This open-ended group is voluntary. All members have a desire to stay sober and clean, attend 12step meetings and participate. We have a warm,confidential and safe atmosphere where you can identify steps to sobriety, establish contacts and identify obstacles to getting sober and clean. This is a place where you can 'air out' any issues and work toward their resolution. This group has been in existence for two decades and has been a successful vehicle leading to many of its' members recovery. If you are willing to commit, we want you. This personal growth group addresses issues that block progress in work, relationships, self-esteem and other areas. Members bond with the group, establish goals, work at their own pace and use the group and the leader to resolve issues and complete goals. This is an ongoing group that has produced indredible results due to its safe nature and skill level of the leader as well as the healing power of the members. Only those interested in cooperating with and helping others members and being helped can become a member. This group is special to me and I value it greatly.

Dr. Peter Butkins, LMFT, LCAP, LMHC, CAP, BCC has over 45 years in the addiction and mental health counseling fields. His expertise is based on personal, professional and academic experiences. Having owned and directed two treatment centers, he has experience as clinical director/supervisor as well as with direct services, providing individual treatment and facilitating recovery groups and family treatment services. Being a seasoned therapist, consultant, teacher and author on addiction, Dr. Butkins is dedicated to arresting the chemical dependence problem. His current publications include Tried and True Methods to get Sober, and Clean, Tried and True Ways to get Your Child Sober and Clean and Sober and Separated.

With over 45 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Niagara University and the University of Florida, specializing in coaching, mental health and marriage and family therapy.  He is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.  Among his areas of expertise are personal, life and corporate coaching as well as individual, group and marriage counseling and addictions.

In addition to being a prominent life coach and therapist, Dr. Butkins has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of stress management, addictions, mental health, website substance abuse prevention and suicide prevention.  He also specializes in family addiction treatment.

Dr. Butkins is a knowledgeable coach and an interactive, eclectic, solution-focused therapist.  He has a background in Gestalt therapy. Cancellation Policy
