Anyone can get and stay sober and clean.

It is a matter of surrender to a process that is successful. Find the successful recovering people and do what they do. Stop fighting and trying to control it alone.

Love and Peace,

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Violence often follows drinking/drugging.

When we ingest very small amounts of alcohol and even some drugs, our inhibitions leave and our judgment becomes very poor. Violence can be inevitable.

Hidden scars include emotional, mental, physical, financial and social pain.  Survivors last but they don't always live. The National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).

Twelve-Step works.

Most of the problems occurring when God takes away our drug and alcohol cravings mollify when the twelve-step program is embraced.  This means that the addict/alcoholic goes to daily meetings for three months, obtains a sponsor/coach and does the steps with the sponsor; then he sponsors others.  This results in being neutral about intoxification, arresting negativity and being purposeful and useful to God and others. What's more, it's free!!!
