Ask "What's good for my recovery?" Then pray for intuitive thoughts.

Be humble enough not to trust an abused mind. Give yourself time to settle down. Trust people who have been sober for years, are doing well and still work on themselves by helping others.

Best Wishes,

Call recovering people daily, especially your sponsor.

Addiction Recovery Holiday Redirection - Recovery is truly a Present!!!

Many times unresolved grief emerges during the holiday season.

Grieving is very painful for a recovering person in early recovery. Pent up feelings that have been building for years can make the loss seem unbearable. Remember to talk, vent, share and unload therapeutically. This may be new and well worth it because it is healing. Help-seeking behavior is a MUST in recovery. Self-disclosure is a close second.

Reality takes some getting 'used to' but you will learn from this experience to grieve in a healing way. Remember, "This too shall Pass." Don't drink or drug and you can be there for self and others.

Addiction Recovery Holiday Redirection - Recovery is truly a Present!!!

Best Wishes,
